It's good practice to fill in as much of the information as possible with your unique information to help boost your organic search engine listings.
Once you have created the disciplines you need you can move on to creating or mapping your models.
Creating Model Data
There are a couple of different ways of creating model data. If your account supports it you can sometimes import the model data directly from our Supplier Data module using the "Model Mapping" menu item from the models menu item. If you do not see this option and would like to use our managed data, please contact support for more information.
Model Mapping Method
Once in the model mapping feature, you can run the "import and refresh model mappings" button. This process can take some time, but it will automatically add the model to products in our known database. This is not going to do this on all of your products, but should give you a good headstart.
Product-by-product Method
Each Bike product has the option of adding a "model", the option is added below the categorisation of each product as shown here:
Models can be selected from any existing models already created or created by free-typing and clicking on the word you created.
Viewing and Editing Models
To get to view the models you have created you can click the pencil icon from the admin area, then go to Models > Model Data. From here you'll see all the models you have created or mapped. To edit one simply click on it and you'll see all the options available to you.
Adding rich content here will help your natural search engine listings and provide a more informative page for your customers. It's worth spending time generating unique content here. However, the most important part of this section it ensuring you select some "linked disciplines". These ensure the model appears under each discipline.
