Managing Finance Availability

Managing Finance Availability

Allowing customers to spread payments has obvious benefits for higher ticket items. But, it doesn't always make sound business sense to allow certain finance products on all of your products. PushRetail has a number of tools available for managing finance availability.

Site-wide Control

Once your finance provider has been set-up on PushRetail you'll see your preloaded finance products by visiting "Pencil" > v12 Products, Novuna Products or Santander Products. From here you can re-import the products or click and edit each individual product.

When editing finance products you can change the following information:
  1. Display Name - this is the name shown to the customer during the selection process.
  2. Live - this indicates if the product should be seen on your system.
  3. Min Loan - this is the minimum loan value that the finance product applies to (basket value).
  4. Max Loan - this is the maximum loan value that the finance product applies to (basket value).
  5. Valid for Sale Items - do you want to show this finance product if there is a sale item in the basket?
  6. Default Option - this shows the finance product by default if all the above conditions are met.
Once saved these changes are made live.

Individual Product Control

When editing a product the options tab gives you granular control over the finance products that are applicable to this product. From here you can:

Disable Finance Completely

To remove finance from a product you need to ensure the "Allow Finance" checkbox is unchecked.

Select Finance Products that Apply Only to this Product

Select at least one of the checkboxes next to the applicable finance products and these selections will only be available if this product is in the basket.
