Create a New Users

Why Create Users?

This allows you to create new users and assign their access. By each user using their own login it allows you to track and control all operations done within the platform and limit who is able to do what functions.

Warning: In no situation should more then one person be given access to a user!

Creating A User

Found within 'System Admin>User management'

Enter into the relevant box a
  1. Username,
  2. Full name of staff member ,
  3. E-mail address
  4. Phone number
  5. password.
The e-mail and phone number are used for sending the Two-Factor-Authenication codes and so must be correct. A mobile phone number is necessary as codes are sent via SMS. This will make login quicker and easier for the user.

You can then select the type of user and the areas they will be able to view and edit. Tick the boxes for the suitable areas for that user and save when complete
  1. Super users - manage users and access all areas
  2. Mechanic - only relevant for workshop module, can be assigned as a mechanic and able to edit in the Workshop Module
  3. News - Can only access the news/blog area
  4. Pages - Will be able to create and edit pages of the website
  5. Brands - Will be able to create and edit brands within the products area
  6. Categories - Will be able to create and edit Categories of the website
  7. Products - Will be able to creat and edit all products
  8. Questions - Will be able to access & answer the customer questions area
  9. Reviews - Will be able to manage the reviews section
  10. Orders - will have full access to the order processing area
  11. Customers - will be able to edit and manage the customers area
  12. Financials - Will have full access to financial reporting
  13. Email Marketing - allows access to the e-mail marketing area
