Set up a Google Merchant Centre

Set up a Google Merchant Centre

This is the software that holds your feed and passes the information on your products through to Google Ads, where the campaigns are run. It is relatively straightforward to set up, and just requires you to supply the necessary business details and a few verification points, after which you should be ready to go. With all Push websites, we provide a full product feed, based on what you have shown on your website. You will be able to find your product feed by going to:

www.yourwebsite.co.uk/xml/products.xml

If you’re using our advanced product groups set-up you can use the link below:

www.yourwebsite.co.uk/xml/#/products.xml

Where # is the product group ID. For more information on the product grouping function please contact a member of our customer service team, or see our online knowledgebase article here.

Important:
Please be aware that your product feed links are password protected. We recommend you create a new user in your admin area just for accessing your feed. This user doesn't require any of the checkboxes to be selected.

You will add this into the ‘primary feeds’ section in Merchant Centre, and then in the ‘Scheduled fetch’ and then ‘File URL’. We recommend you fetch the feed daily, preferably around 10am in the morning.
