Primary Return URL Configuration
Your platform can be configured to communicate directly with V12 Finance, providing a tailored response to customers based on the outcome of their finance application. This is achieved through the implementation of a Return URL:

This URL acts as a conduit for V12 Finance, allowing them to redirect customers back to your site post-application, in a manner that reflects the current status of their finance application. To enable this functionality, the URL must be communicated to V12 via email at
SalesSupport@v12finance.com, who will then configure it accordingly.
Dynamic Status Handling
Upon return, the system intelligently assesses the status of the finance application and redirects the customer to one of three specific URLs on your website, each corresponding to a different application outcome:
- Finance Declined: Redirects to https://<your website>/finance-declined/ for applications that are not approved.
- Finance Referred: Redirects to https://<your website>/finance-referred/ when an application requires additional time or information before a decision can be made.
- Finance Abandoned: Redirects to https://<your website>/finance-abandoned/ if a customer exits the application process prematurely.
To facilitate this seamless redirection process, it's imperative to create these pages on your website, ensuring that customers receive clear, immediate feedback on their application status.
Enhancing Communication with Proactive Status Updates
For real-time updates and to foster proactive communication regarding finance application statuses, V12 Finance utilises a webhook mechanism. By supplying V12 with a webhook URL, you can receive instant notifications about changes or updates to customer applications.

To set up this service, email the webhook URL along with the relevant Retailer ID to SalesSupport@v12finance.com. This step ensures that your platform remains informed about the status of finance applications, enabling timely and appropriate responses to your customers.
iFrame Tracking
V12 has the ability to automatically render a hidden iFrame at the decision pages of the finance application process, once the credit check has been completed. It is recommended that this iframe is used specifically for order tracking/finance conversion purposes (including Google Analytics) since the iframe is automatically rendered and does not rely on your customer clicking anything. In order to use this you should supply V12 with a URL and Retailer ID to SalesSupport@v12finance.com.
