Search Results and Adding Synonyms

Search Results and Adding Synonyms

When a customer uses your websites search tool, Push Retail logs the search term used and any resulting sale. This gives your search results a conversion rate value. But, also provides an opportunity to create additional search words to use. This is particularly helpful if there are misspellings or multiple ways of spelling a word.

Viewing Search Terms

To view the search terms used on your website you’ll need to ensure you are logged in to the platform admin and navigate to the “searches” menu item. This can be found by selecting the pencil icon in the top navigation. From here you’ll see a filterable table showing all of the search terms and total number of searches, orders and the conversion rate.

Adding Synonyms

To add synonyms or “additional terms” you simply click the search term you wish to edit and you’ll be given options to include further search terms. Please ensure these are comma separated.
