Adding Hotjar to Your Push Website

How to Add Hotjar to Your Push Website.

Hotjar is a third party software used to analyse onsite behaviour of your users. We recommend upload Hotjar using Google Tag Manager (GTM). If you have not yet installed GTM, please follow these steps on how to do so.

How to install Hotjar on Your Website?

  1. Log in to your Google Tag Manager account
  2. Select your website's container and click Add a new tag
  3. Click ‘Hotjar tracking code’ and enter a name for your tag, such as “Push - Hotjar tag”
  4. Select & Copy your Hotjar site ID into the required text field - This can be found within your Hotjar account
  5. Click into 'triggers' and select 'All Pages'
  6. Save the trigger, and tag and then submit your workspace (top right hand-side) to go live
And that’s it, you’ve now set up Hotjar on your website. If you need any further guidance with this. Don’t hesitate to create a support ticket and one of our support team will be happy to help you.
